Well me I don’t know where the years go, stooping so low away.
I waited so long for my swan song; such a sweet song to play.

No one’s telling me how I ought to be. I am alright. Yes, I’m alright.

I take a skydive, on the down slide. That’s the dark side of grey.
But it’s a sure thing feels like falling. Me I’m falling away.

No one’s telling me what I should have been. I was alright. I was alright.
